How to clean thoroughly/poor mfgs. instructions

I own three guns and have the original manuals. None of the manuals provide any information on cleaning beyond removing the slide, barrel, main spring.

I have sprayed the heck out of each with a commercial gun cleaner, brushed with a tooth brush, and put them back together with a light lube on the slide.

Where can I find instructions/directions, for tearing them down further. It seems clear the manufacturers are not encouraging that and perhaps for good reason. Yet, there are obviously plenty of places where grit exists that I can't get to.

So, any thoughts, and in particular instructions or url to instructions for thorough cleaning of the following three weapons:

a) Walther P22
b)S&W Model 99 .40 Compact
c) Colt Mustang .380

Not sure re cleaning instructions tho. I am wondering if a simple web search on ''gun cleaning'' for example would very likely turn up some existing info for you - general and specific too - re semi's, revo's rifles etc.

If you have no luck with that or here after a bit - then many of us can write up some details for you - just a matter of time right now.

Thanks, but what I see there is the same as in the manuals I have.
I'm looking for how to get in and do a more thorough cleaning.

Oops sorry - it was only a quick scan - but some searching will I am sure find more detailed stuff.

The PDF manuals on Steve's pages might I thought have been a bit more info .... anyways hopefully it'll pan out.
