    Selling question

I really don't know where to post this question. So I any of the mods would like to move it I wouldn't mind at all. Thank you and sorry.

I am selling my Taraus 24/7 in Ohio and I would like to know that proper way on doing it. I live in Ohio as well. I bought it from a gun shop and I want to make sure it doesn't stay in my name. Can you please help with some advise?

Elrey just run any sale thro a ffl and pay them the approprate book keeping fees , that should provide a paper trail suitable for anyone . I dont understand the concern myself , but if your that concerned that would be the easy way .
Make sure you get full value out of today , Do something worthwhile, because what you do today will cost you one day off the rest of your life .

    Second what Redneck said.

Also, you can just write up a Bill of Sale with all the pertinent details and have the buyer sign. You can also get a copy of his D/L if you want.

There is no set way to do this, unlike with a car. It's your gun, you may sell it when and to whom you please.

Depends on the law in your state.

    In MN,

    Required
    The person must be 21+
Must not be a known felon

    Smart
Look at a carry permit and compare to DL OR
Look at a permit to purchase a pistol and compare to DL
Then document the permit and DL info

They hand you the money and you hand them the gun.
