Ok People! Fess up!
So.... I decided to go Revolver like I mentioned in another post and started hunting for a good deal online. I remember that somebody mentioned Summit Gunbroker as a good place to get inexpensive weapons and checked them out. I contacted Mark about a month or so ago and he told he had a good number of them in stock.
Yesterday I finally had all my monies ready and called him to order a S&W 65 like these....

...and to my surprise, Mark said I was just in time. It seems that all of the sudden there was a whole bunch of people interested & buying the revolvers! Since his website has been posted in more than one ocassion here, I wanna know who are the darn culprits that almost left me without a gun!
For those interested the 65 is a lot from the Texas Department of Corrections and for sale at $255.

Not guilty! And that seems a pretty good price too.

That sounds like a great deal, but when buying a used gun, especially one used as a duty weapon I really prefer a in person inspection. But for $255 it's hard to pass up.

NC, I that was on my thoughts, but it is a darn good deal and if it requires some work, I wont mind too much. I think it will be fun to make it a project. I have a couple of buddies that are S&W freaks that I know won't mind guiding me through the work.
Chris.... Me thinks thou protest too much?
Kidding aside, if this guy is selling good firearms at a good price, I am happy we all get a chance to get them and for him to do good business.

Congrats Miggy!
I'm still looking for a 3" M65 or M13 to replace a couple I was stupid enough to let get away.

I wish it were me LOL . But sadly with my limited budget Revolvers are pretty much off my shopping list for the time being . I think they may well be easyer to find and aquire in the near future than some other guns so i am trying to lay in the others now lol .
