10 th anniversity of L.A. Shootout

Today is the 10 th anniversity of the Bank robbery and shootout in Los Angeles . Amazing the amount of havoc and destruction two determined men can meete out. Suited up with body armor and AK's along with other assualt rifles . 11 LEO's and civilians were wounded and over 600 LEO's eventually responded. BG's were finally brought down and there were to many heros to count. Makes me worry about the terrorist cells here in the U.S. I hope we have learned.

    Actually it was North Hollywood.

Still hard to believe, But now we get to carry AR-15's in our car.

I am not going to celebrate this aniversary but I doubt that we have learned much. You rarely hear anyone in authority tell people that their personal safety is their responsibility so get a gun and learn to shoot it. I don't think the country will wise up until I hear that more often.

You must work closer to the Everglades than Little Havana to want a .30-06 as a patrol rifle! Though I suppose the errant gator is a possibility in either place.... :)
A man fires a rifle for many years, and he goes to war. And afterward he turns the rifle in at the armory, and he believes he's finished with the rifle. But no matter what else he might do with his hands - love a woman, build a house, change his son's diaper - his hands remember the rifle.

We got our jungle down here... beside, you need heavy calibers to go through the steel hurricane panels
You have to make the shot when fire is smoking, people are screaming, dogs are barking, kids are crying and sirens are coming.
