    Aiming a taurus 905?

I am trying to help somone who is new to handguns learn to shoot their gun and am having a dificult time. Does anyone have or know of some good resources to help me explain or show them to help them out. Here are some details.

Gun is a taurus 905 hammerless 9 mm 2.5 inch revolver dao
shooting generic ball ammo mostly remington or magtech.
I have explained a grip and show one from www.shootingtimes.com pro tips section from Jerry M. I have show and explained the trigger in the first joint revolver trigger pull and how feeling the frame on the pull back as an indicator of when the pull is about to break and how this is when you fine tune the sight. Today we were out shooting at an IDPA silloute target from about 3-7 yards. There were no hits on the target at the end of the day and shots were consistantly all over the place. One other factor was that they wear only a single contact in their right eye and none in their left eye. The eye doctor has done this over a course of a few years to train them to focus for totaly vision instead of wearing bifocals. Since the left eye is the eye that handles the close up vision I have show how to slightly turn the head to aquire the sight picture. I thinks thats about it, so any help would be gladly accepted. I personally have little experience in snub nosed revolver and the sights on this gun are a little odd to me so I have trouble explaining it to someone else.

    Thanks!
