    I am going bargin shopping.

I am thinking about a Bersa or a Kel-Tec in .380 as a BUG or as an "always" gun and I am probably going to get an unfired Yugo SKS still packed in a ton of Communist cosmoline. I just hope I can figure out how to get that ugly launcher off.

I filed my return early and got my check on Feb. 12th. I couldn't wait for April so I bought myself a G30 on 2/12.

I think if I buy another gun anytime soon my wife will make me sleep in the backyard. Oh well, at least if she sends me to the backyard to live I'll be well-protected. lol

I was doing my business account receipts recently and noticed I had bought 8 handguns in the past 12 months. I find that reasonable, and as it also showed transactions where I had paid for a Mont Blanc pen and a Louis Vuitton purse my wife was more than amenable.

I think the secret for me is that I only ever buy guns when my wife is there with me, that way I can say that I'm not sure I should get it, then she says "well I didn't come all this way just to kick tires".

    Works for us.

You have a keeper there 0.02. Seriously, my wife has never given me any grief about spending money. She is a very tolerant woman that just happens to be addicted to shoes and purses. It tends to balance us out.

Agreed, her Grandfather made her a life member of the NRA when she was born and gave her a few heirloom guns.

    She understands gun people.

I am another one who spent his tax return early. I picked up my PS90 last Friday.

It will be a while until i can afford a new firearm.

Hopefully, I am gonna take the jump to the dark side this weekend. Was sposed to be last weekend, but the ones at the gunshow I went to, those people were sure proud of what they had. So proud, that the prices were high enough for them to keep their guns and stay proud of what they own. Maybe this weekend, I will find one that does not me giving away one of the grandtwins to complete the deal. Really trying hard to find one, but won't get bent over the sink doing so.

I'm hoping to get out the door under $400!

$240 for the Kel-tec and $140 for the SKS. With tax I should be in that ballpark.

Not sure which one yet, depends on whether I'm in a "bargain mood' (Bersa) or "classier mood" (ppk/s) at the time I'm at the ol gun shop.

Just waiting for the check to roll in then it's off for either .380 and definitely a new Blackhawk Holster for my XD9sc.
It's not about the caliber you carry, it's about how you USE it.
