Guns on Craigslist?
I read my local listings on Craigslist.org every day, I generally check the tools, bikes, sporting and free goods section.
I've noticed that there is regularly a few guns listed in the sporting goods listing but they get deleted the same day. I've even noticed that the sellers are listing them with the bare minimum of information to avoid cursory detection.
For example instead of Glock 17 9mm $xxx, the listing is G17 $xxx. Basically taking out the words that average people would recognize as gun related. Some posts are simply listed as 'For Sale', as soon as I see one like that I know it is a gun.
Does craigslist not allow firearm listings?
Is it because they object or is it illegal in some way? I know FTF sales are ok to list elsewhere.
This has go me puzzled.
