Cool videos. That first ones looks like they overpressured a revolver and blew up the cylinder. I like to watch, just glad it's not mine.

John - I was very intrigued to watch that one as I have had for some long time a still pic - obviously taken from that same event.

On my Gobango.net site I have a kabooms page and that is #2 of the pics. Good to see at last where it originated.

I didn't know you had a different site. I look forward to browsing through it. The kabooms page is interesting.

There's a gunshop in Spokane (Ed's Gunatorium) that has various oops' placed throughout the shop, barrels, cylinders, etc. It's an interesting place to wander through. It's almost as much a museum as a gun shop. Or at least that's the way it was several years ago, it's out of my way so I haven't been there in a while.

Yeah, I had to look close too.

AFAIK, in German, the 'ie' or 'ei' combination uses the last letter at its sound (either 'e' or 'i'). So, they would sound close, but not the same. (Disclaimer: it's been a long time since I've taken any German)

Good find on the site, btw. I'm busily downloading its vids to add to my collection.
