Hi All
Just picked this Lee Enfield Up , I will try to get better picks, its a 1965 Lee Enfield Ishapore 7.62 . original wood has cartouche stamp . If anyone else owns one of these , my question is on ammo , I will eventually reload for this but im guessing over the counter 7,62x51 ok to shoot thru it?
Factory ammo is fine.
I almost bought one of those. The one I was looking at was made by Bishop (an importer) and was also cut down to resemble the Jungle Carbine.
Heavy rifle for sure. Should be able to handle anything as long as the headspace is good.
Thanks PAcanis, I will try to get better pics tonight when I get home. Another one for the Collection ..lol Hopefully my Son will appreciate it all when he is older, I never will understand why you would want to spend your time on Video game shooter when you can go to the range and shoot the real thing. Just me I guess.
I have a British 303.Great action but the one I had was so dirty.I couldn't get the sticky feeling off the wood without lots of sanding.Call me lazy I sold it for a small profit.
