EXACTLY the same happened to me. Attempted delivery/biz was closed. My "biz" is 160-feet from my office. They never, ever, attempted delivery. Driver lied, then told me they "had to put down something" before returning to their distribution center. I'd already raised a ruckus via the FedEx website because I needed the product. After talking to that driver, I contacted all my vendors and advised them I'd no longer accept FedEx shipments. Everything's been smooth since.

Many people including FedEx employees believes FedEx requires guns to be shipped over night and this is simply not true. They allow them to shipped via "express saver" which is usually 3-4 days. You can't go to a drop off location, but you can go to their main hub in your area. I have bought two guns in as many weeks, one from San Diego to NC was $12, and one from MN. to NC. was $7.00. Heck of a lot cheaper than $41 for overnight!!! Just thought I would let y'all know. Some FFL will only accept overnight shipments, they must get a kickback!!
