Finally bought my 1st S&W 442
Hi everyone. I was finally able to go and pick up a S&W 442 today. It was cheaper than I was quoted a few weeks ago. $369.99+tax. I saved $20.00. Any way I told SIXTO that I would post here when I finally bought it so I am doing that now. I can't take it too the range until next week,but I did get a free day range pass for purchasing the gun so I can hardly wait. I will post a range report for everyone when I finally get to shoot it.

I've been bit so hard by the Jframe bug......I want one bad! Had a 642 I didnt quickly warm up to and stupidly shopped it off for something else, but I'll get another one soon, likely a 442.

Yep! Great little gun.
I went to the gun show this weekend in Indy and bought rosewood grips for it. Looks real pretty against the black. Haven't shot it with the new grips yet but it sure trims it down for pocket carry.

I carry one as a BUG. My EDC is an N-Frame .45 acp revolver. I have my choice of what I want to carry and between the Glock 36, Kahr PM9, S&W 686, S&W 442 and S&W 22-4 I chose the 22-4 and 442 combo.
It's a great little gun that can be carried 24/7 with ease. Spend some time shooting that new puppy at 25 yards, you might be suprised.

BikerRN. I am still new to all this so Please forgive the stupid question. 25 yards is 75 feet right? Why would you want to shoot from so far away? Do Indoor ranges go by yards or feet? Thank You for your answers ahead of time. Jeff.
