I've never used it but I could see how it would work. It has a high gloss.

It works well. Just be careful that you dont get any into an area you dont want it to be in... nail polish works almost as well as loctite.

I use my wife's discarded ones for lock-tite. I did use it to paint sight pins on one of my compound bow sight's.

I have not tried it but know many folks find it works very well - plus if it chips an extra application is no big deal.

I have used ''Brightsights'' paint myself.

Oh yeah, forgot to add an application tip... use a toothpick. The little brush in the lid makes a mess of your sights.

I've got a ported Taurus 85, the front sight had red paint on it when I bought it. The blast from the ports soon put an end to that though.
I bought some model paint but haven't bothered putting it on yet, I keep thinking it will get burned off again.

I used it for years, with a toothpick. My Wife would tire of a particular color, so I always had a ready supply. This was until I found Bright Sights . . . a lot better.

Yes, it can get dirty or burn off and I just clean the area and re-apply.

I've used Glow in the dark nail polish left over from a Halloween for Ghetto night sights for a few years now. Works great

You might be surprised, but I have used Liquid Paper on some of mine. It has to be redone every so often but it is cheap and can be seen in many low light areas (not total darkness).
