I have a 1968 Indian Ishapore Enfield Model 2A1 which is an update of the 2A.
Both are made in 7.62 NATO.
Are intended to be loaded primarily by stripper clip.
Yes, the magazine is removeable, however, is really only meant to be removeable if damaged or broken.
Was my first 7.62 gun. I like it, I'm keeping it. Not and M14 or M1A, but a good solid modernized 7.62 bolt action type . Makes for a real good extra battle rifle.

Well I was at the range yesterday and I couldn't get onto paper. Next time I'll see if I can get a spot on the shorter range and bring a bigger target so I can see where I'm missing. These were all the things running through my head yesterday and today until a package arrived at my door. Low and behold my second bolt action arrived. Pix in new thread.

Yep - start at 25 yds if poss and maybe even some newspaper as target. Better still, as well - is to bore sight if you can.

Anyways - close up first should solve the main error. I recall mine took some work to get tightened up for sighting, even before I added scope.

It was a sunny day after a week of rain. The short side of the range was packed. I was just happy to see it eat some ammo. ;)
