    adjustable sights stuck

I have a kimber 22 conversion kit with the adjustable sights for a 1911. I have had it a few months and have just been getting comfortable enough with it to want to adjust the sights. Left and right adjustment go smooth but I cannont get the screw that raises and lowers to turn it. I have check the kimber website and the manual but cannont find any help as to what I am doing wrong. Any suggestions?

If it's the Blue or Green (I think?) lock-tite - yes. You can turn it given the proper torque.

If it's the Red stuff then it'll stay stuck.

Not what you want to hear but you might have to either send back for replacement - or keep it and drill it out and retap if you have the know-how.

If you have the proper size screwdrive try a little more torque other wise as said above thats all you can do beside sent it to kimber

I would not heat it to break the loc tite

I have done a number on the screw trying to get it to adjust and have never gotten it to move a click, so I am going to just get the thing together and send it to them. Thanks much.
