    M1 Carbine

I've been looking at these for awhile, and I was wondering if anyone had any experience with the new Auto Ordnance M1 Carbine's produced by Kahr Arms?

I heard that the CMP was going to start selling these next month just like the Garand program. Can anyone confirm?

The CMP's website says they will begin selling carbines 30 April.

Blame it on Sixto - now that is a viable plan.

I've previously owned two M1Carbines, and regret trading them off. I will definately be in line for one of these!!! Can't wait.

CMP will be selling the original GI issue variety of M-1 carbines, the Auto Ordnance version is "new Manufacture" of the old design, IIRC they a well made but they do not have a bayonet lug on them

my local shop had a Inland carbine dated '43 for $725, looked really good, and right next to it was a brand new (would have been dated 2006) Auto Ordnance for $650...

One is an antique and historical firearm - the other is not.

Saw a Universal at the gun show, they wanted $800 for it.. I said "you know, CMP is gonna seel Original US GI's for about $500"...

The seller replied, "but those are old beat up ones from WWII"...

    I kept on walking...
