Excellent! Sounds like you are hooked already.

You might not have done well this time, but no worries, you will before long.

Did you shoot at WGTI in Carrollton? I was there too if that was the place you were.

We managed to have a pretty good match considering it was the first time any of us had ever been there and we had to make up COFs off the top of our heads and scrounge for equipment.
It will get better as we bring in props, tables, barricades and such.

It is always fun to get out and shoot.

I would LOVE to get into IDPA. Not only would it be a blast but the training aspect would be FABULOUS.

    I'm glad you had fun!

Just make sure that you all remember that it is just a game. There are parts that are very good SD practice and parts that are not.

Think of IDPA as your SD elementary school. Yes, it is a game but for those with no SD training beats whatever comes second and there are people that treat it not as a game but as SD refreshers.

It's really too bad that the IDPA club in SE VA only holds matches weekday afternoons. Do these guys not work?

How do I contact the SE VA IDPA club? I work a 14 rotating shift, so I'm frequently off on weekdays.
