I would call it uninformed. I have spoken to several people through the years that have thought that full auto and suppressors are ilegal as well. You should see the looks I get when I tell them that they aren't illegal, just highly regulated.
Some get that curious look, others get a confused look. Rarely do I see the terrified look.

Remember that yrs ago only military were the ones with that type of weapons and they were all full........but yea just miss inform!!!
