    What The???

I was messin around and found this :
    http://www.securityarms.com/20010315...s/0600/601.htm

and thought at first that it should go under humor but its not the only one I found others:

    http://airbornecombatengineer.typepa...under_50_.html
    http://airbornecombatengineer.typepa...adi_griff.html

so I thought that maybe this is the best place for it. I can only speculate how something like this came about. And I am still not 100% sold that it's for real but if it is, it kinda looks like fun
I'd like to hear others takes on what to think

While I'm an American that believes bigger is ALWAYS better, I'm just glad I'm to old to have to prove my manhood.

I have my doubts that anyone could actually handle a .50 BMG pistol. It may be real, but truely shootable-no.

They should call this 50 caliber gun the Ego Pistol. I like the glock with the unusual sights.

sounds like it was a build it cause we can type of project. The second article eludes to the makers trying to market their recoil compensator. Real? Who knows.

Have seen that before and what was stated was that it was more or less one of a kind (prototype) . Not sure I would want to shoot that thing.

    Hahaha

Aside from the concealability factor I think you might have some problems if it ever came to having to employ it in self defense. Over penetration times 10, among others.

Only problem for concealed carry is it is a single shot............

Can I get one in a revolver or maybe a belt fed auto?

Its a real gun with a real design...the same design as the .50 that I built years ago.

Although Ive never shot the pistol, I did see one at a gunshop several years ago. Maadi Griffen sold some kit-guns for it years ago but have since ceased.

My hands started aching as soon as I saw the picture.... no thanks I will pass on that gun.
I will support gun control when you can guarantee all guns are removed from this planet. That includes military and law enforcement. When you can accomplish that, then I will be the last person to lay down my gun. Then I will carry the weapon that replaces the gun.
