Trigger seemed harder to pull tonight

Just got back from the range and it seemed to me that the trigger pull was harder.

It also seemed like the recoil was worse but then I ran out of my prefered target ammo (S&B) and had to use the ranges (Independence which cost me $15.95 for a box of 50) ammo.

I shot OK not my best but not my worst by far so maybe I was just tired tonight.

If it continues to feel tight what should I do?

If it is not in the US Constitution then the Federal Government should not be doing it.

    Ditto - what firearm?

Usually, no matter what the specific firearm - if a trigger (all of a sudden) gets abnormally much harder to pull that should be considered to be a warning sign/signal that something "not good" happened internally and mechanically.
You should absolutely check it out.
It might just be build up crud but, not usually.

It could be an excuse to buy a backup Ultra CDP while you are getting the other one fixed. Any excuse to buy another gun is good. I would definately get it to a gun smith.

Does anyone know what the trigger pull is supposed to be in a Kimber Ultra CDP?

First thing I'd look at is the sear. Its the cresent shaped dodad that sits directly behind the trigger inside of the frame.

Thay have been known to crack on the ultra or micro 1911's
