    Smile But Honey, it was a good deal!!

    Well, I had some explaining to do when I got home. Seems this showed up at the gun shop two days ago for a trade that the guys said "Made no sense at all but what the heck!" I've been hankering for a .22 target pistol since shooting a friends a few months ago reminded me of just how much fun they are, not to mention cheaper than the ol' 1911.

    I'm telling myself "it's about training for good trigger control!" right?

    So I'm hoping it was really a good deal at $295. This thing is not even showing any action wear and the bore is perfect. Extra grips and some extra sight inserts.

    Now, where do I find the money for a C-More.........

    But the good news is the wife smiled understandingly and shook her head with a smile. WHEW!!!

    Next weekend I'll be punching some little bitty holes in some paper.

    you just cant beat a good 22 plinker pistol, i have had a High Standard Supermatic Citation 5&1/2 inch bull barrel for 30 years now and in July I will pass it to my oldest son.

    I would love to find another Ruger MkII Standard. I have one that was my Dad's, and I will teach my son to shoot it, and eventually pass it down. I take it out once in a while, but not often. I kind of want to keep it the way it is for memory sake.
