Any one have one or had one thinking of one as a 9mm blaster so i can teach a few people how to shoot and then when i have to buy ammo cheeper than a 45

One reason to switch is same style gun as carry i shot my 9mm glock today as im running low on 45 and it screwed the whole day i went from shooting 5 shot groups touching to lucky i could hit the plate with the glock and back to a 10 inch group with 1911 and lucky i bought it down with a 38 wheelie

Needless to say i was disappointed in the later part of shooting so i want to go with a like style gun

or is anyone can suggest a double stack 9mm other than the para

Bud, there's always STI, if you want to stick with a metal 1911 go with Para, just make sure you don't get anyhting with thier Parakote finish, I loved my Paras but that backed on stuff just don't last.


Other than those two manufacturers I can't think of another that makes double stack 1911s in 9mm.


***Edited to add, Does it have to be double stack?
STI also makes a single stack 9mm, and Springfields single stack 1911 in 9mm isn't all that bad either. Nighthawk Custom might still offer pistols in 9mm.

yeah i supposed it has to be not much point in a 9 shot 9mm

If your set on double stacks get the Para.
