I should thought of the lyrics!
The Man Song by Sean Morey
I don't take no crap from anybody! ... else but you.
I wear the pants around here!...when I'm finished with your laundry.
'Cause I'm a guy you don't want to fight! ... when I say "jump" you say "yeah, right".
I'm the man of this house! ... until you get home.
What I say goes around here! ... right out the window.
And I don't want to hear a lot of whining! ... so I'll shut up.
The sooner you learn who's boss around here! ... the sooner you can give me my orders, dear.
'Cause I am the head honcho! ... but it's all in my head.
And I can have sex anytime! ... that you want.
'Cause I'm a man who has needs! ... but they're not that important.
And don't expect any flowers from me! ... because if I'm not mistaken you prefer jewelry.
I'm the king of my castle! ... when you're not around.
And I'll drink and watch sports whenever I want! ... to get into trouble.
And I'll come home when I'm good and ready! ... to sleep on the couch.
Because a man's got to do what a man's got to do! ... and I'm going to do what you tell me to.
Because I'm top dog around here! ... but I've been neutered!
Nothing is more beautiful, satisfying or jus' plain fun to watch as my Marilu launching 200 gr. Hornady X-tips out of the 8 3/8" barrel of my S&W 460!...on our local indoor range...on a busy afternoon...a couple of miles from the Marine base! She really show's 'em,and I sometimes get to shoot it,too...Oh,and her Valentine's Day wish? A Les Baer Monolith in.45ACP!!(yes,she's deadeye with that, too)! The best part is training with a willing and enthusiastic spouse!
A few months ago I took my son (23) and our daughter (24) to the range. I took every handgun I had and laid them out and had them handle each one. My son favored the Springfield XD .40 and our daughter just liked the feel of my Nighthawk 1911. I had thought there picks would have been just the opposite, but was glad they both picked a different gun. Long story short, both were pretty darned good shots, but our daughter was a bit better than our son. She has one the oddest stances of anyone I have seen, but remained safe and I couldn't argue with her target. My wife is one that doesn't mind a .22, but anything else is brutal to her. She just doesn't care for handguns much at all. The good news is that she is one heck of a rifle shot and loves it.....
Well, sure, she picked the Nighthawk!

I took my daughter out shooting and only took the my 1911 in a .45 She did just fine, had no problems and loved shooting it. Too much caliber, is there such a thing?
lima figured you would like to know, I am going out shooting this morning with a female friend from school. She asked that we bring the .45 :hand10: to my knowledge SEEN has set out the 9, 40 (he has too much 9mm not to play with and the .40 is his and my caliber of choice)and 45 for today. I am not even sure if we are bringing the 380 to blow off some old reloads or not. Should be a fun day.
