I received a subscription offer for Guns & Ammo Magazine in the mail today. $12.00 for two years (24 issues). If my math is correct, that's 50 cents per issue. I sent it in.
Anybody else get this?
When you’re wounded and left on Afghanistan’s plains,
And the women come out to cut up what remains,
Just roll to your rifle and blow out your brains,
And go to your God like a soldier.
Hey at that price maybe I'll buy Pelosi a subscription!!

I got one year for $6.00 too.
A real man loves his wife, and places his family as the most important thing in life. Nothing has brought me more peace and content in life than simply being a good husband and father.
I wonder if simply calling the subscription department and saying that you'd like the deal you've heard about other people getting extended to you, if they would say OK.
I'm thinking about that. For a measly twelve bucks, two years worth of the magazine? If they're smart, and someone calls knowing that others are getting that deal, they'd grant it even without the card. The magazine makes its money by selling ads to advertisers, not by issue sales (which are a token amount) and makes more money when it can say, "Our subscribership went up X% last year." So they really shouldn't care that they are selling the magazine to yet another person at a discount off the cover price; MOST of the sales are at a discount off the cover price, and the more of them, the more the advertisers love it.
wow where can I find one of the cards? it's $21 on the website...for $12 I'd definately sign up! :D
I just checked their website...no deal like that there
12 issues for $14.97 or 24 issues for $21.97
You got a great deal.
**I just contacted their subscription dept with an email asking about that deal, once I get a reply, I'll let you guys know what they said.**

Yeah, I checked too.
My friend told me on the phone that it's possible that the discount subscriptions are offered through a third party that buys bulk subscriptions cheap and sells them for a profit, albeit at a discount.
Hmm... I'd really like to start getting the mag again. Last time I had it, I paid a premium from one of those kids who go door-to-door. Takes like 6 months for the danged thing to even start up when you do it that way!
