Finally got one of my must-have revolvers...
I've always wanted a Webley. I didn't want the massive price tag associated with them in many cases, either - nor have to deal with the guilt of chopping down an intact .455 to take moon clips. I also wanted a shooter with a lot of life left in her, because when I find a revolver I like, I shoot the living hell out of it.
This meant I either had to find one in factory .38 S&W (not special) or a pre-mangled .455 - and this week, I found the former.
It's an Israeli police marked Webley Mk 4 in .38 S&W. Trigger is flat out amazing for a military revolver and accuracy is very good at 7 yards even if it does shoot a little high due to the ammo differences in commercial loads versus what it was built to have.
It's not a carry gun unless your name is Dr. Jones, but one of the last few remaining holes in my collection is finally done for a reasonable, sub four bill price.
