Something I found at the gun show

    Hi everyone,

I went to the gun show at the South Florida Fairgrounds this weekend specifically because there is a guy there named George who runs a booth (regularly) called G&L GLOCK. He's a police officer and a GLOCK armorer, and sells all kinds of parts and accessories for GLOCK pistols. Evidently his booth is rather popular. While I was there, at least three or four other people came up and bought stuff. I spent about $120, myself.

I bought myself a backup striker assembly for the .40s I have; a backup magazine release catch (in case it ever wears down too much to hold a mag in); a backup slide stop (comes together with spring); and a new chamber-loaded indicating extractor (along with the necessary replacement plunger) for my old 27.

But what I was really glad to find was a little keychain. It's a perfect model of a GLOCK 17, only about 1.5" long!

I've been marveling at this thing since yesterday! It is so incredibly detailed, it even shows the pin recesses, the takedown bar, the finger grooves. . .

Anyone else have one of these? I think it is the coolest thing!

Not gonna put it on my keychain, but, once I saw it, I just had to have it!

Yeah, I got half a dozen of 'em. They are neat, Glock gives them to dealers as promo items and I think you can buy them from Glock if you really wanted one.

Why is it that you always find things at the last place you looked?

Thank you for posting the pic -- I may or may not be getting my camera back from the ex-girlfriend, but as of yet I have nothing with which to take photos.

That pic actually doesn't do justice to just how accurate and well-finished they look up close.

Does any other manufacturer make such a thing for their own guns? Is there an HK version, for example? (It helps when the gun is normally all-black, like the GLOCK. I don't think I'd be as impressed with a 1911 version, although I do remember that some big-sized G.I. Joe dolls came with a decent .45.)

Yeah, I have a few of them.
Problem is, after a while, thr little plastic loop that holds the chain on breaks easy.
    But is cool.t

    Thumbs up

But, Wait...it's really neat but, it's made out of molded plastic...oh...Whoops!...never mind ~ so are the real ones.

    Hey...Just Joshing you Glocker Dudes.

Seriously Thanks for posting the pics.

    That is really highly detailed.

I'll bet a kid could get expelled for taking that to school these days.

I know that I have a Mini-GALIL somewhere around here. I think it's cast in pewter though. It's a pretty detailed casting but, not that detailed.

That gives new meaning to the term "Mini Glock"
Gun Control means never having to say "I missed you."

    - Glock 27 (.40)
    - Kel-Tec p3at (.380)
    - Beretta 96FS (.40)
    - Smith & Wesson 5906 (9mm)
