    fun range trip

A couple of my buddies and I hit the range this morning for a little recreation. We had the usual stuff (9mm's, .357's, AK's, etc.) but the one that got all the "cool points" for the day was my buddies S&W .460 VXR with the 8 3/8" barrel. Got to try both the .454's and the .460's...Talk about a hand-cannon, that thing was SWEET!!!

here's a pic of me shooting "the beast" and a couple of pics with them shooting my AK

Those big Smiths are a lot of fun. I was lucky enough to put a few rounds through a .500 and enjoyed every minute of it.

Sounds good Matt - being myself a bit of a recoil junkie and partial to hand cannons, I can imagine the grin factor.

I have not so far gotten an X frame but with my SRH .454 and the fave BFR in 45-70, manage to satisfy my ''cannon lust''

Just gotten to reloading 150 rounds of 45-70 so might soon be time to get a fix ..... but have a loada .454 cases to reload, so that'll have to wait a while.

    Hand cannon

Hey that place looks too clean, someone must have done some picking up. Wish I could spare some weekday time. Have some warm loads from garnet that are fun for a while. Going to have to find some time for fun.
