Sig P250?

It comes with two polymer frames and an easily removable receiver assembly that is adjustable for trigger length, a twist on the recent trend for guns that fit more than one hand size.
Looks interesting.

As someone who isn't usually very interesting in Sig's the 250 did look awfully interesting in G&A.
The replaceable frames with a seperate serialized receiver takes the removable backstrap idea to another level. As does the interchangeable trigger types.
Unfortunately, I am no help when it comes to release dates or anything, I just read the article and thought it was cool.

There has been mention (very little mention) over on SIGForum. Guess I've got to find that magazine.

I actually read the article in bed last night, I had only skimmed it before making the thread.
The gun has three available frames, two trigger lengths. Not sure if you buy more than one frame at time of purchase or if they all come in one box. The serial number is on the receiver and shows through a window on whatever frame you choose to use.
They liked it, but then they would - it's a gun magazine

The 250 has been around in Europe for two or three years. It was assumed SIG kept it there so as not to compromise [I]sigpro[I] sales. Check out the German SIG website.

What's the address, do you have a link?
I tried adding .de at the end but it got me nowhere...

Yeah, I have never been a fan of the "SigPro" line.
Sorta the Ford Escort compared to the Cobra Mustang.

I think I'll pass.

Seeing as how I finally tracked down a 228, I don't think I'll be running out and buying one of these, but i do like the idea. Make it DA/SA and get rid of the rail, then I'll get in line.

There is now an "official" post over on SIGForum with some information provided by SIG USA. Here is the link:
