Addition for Play
I added a Ruger Mark III on Tuesday. I needed a .22 for cheaper practice, right now I am working as an intern youth minister making next to nothing but want to be able to shoot a lot. I figured this is was a good way to spend part of my graduation money. I still have not gotten out to shoot it yet, I planned on going out tonight but one of my students was play punching with a friend at school today and lacerated his spleen so I never made it to the range today. Who knows maybe tomorrow.

That gun will for sure be the tops for value shooting. I haven't checked of later re a brick (550) of Fed from WW but it has to still be not much away from $10.
That's a lotta cheap (grinning) shooting!
Hope you enjoy - and if that ammo is at all finicky try Fed Champion - bit dearer but works my 22/45 best of any.
Another thing maybe - later on fit a Volquartsen extractor - nice sharp claw and extraction is improved for some folks.

Now here is the best thing I've gotten for my Ruger.
Beyond that get rid of the mag safety and it'll be even better.

I've had a Mark II since the 1980s. It's a great gun but a bit tricky to reassemble.
Be reasonable. See things my way.
