I know the show that is from... Great Anime series.
Now, we must all fear evil men. But there is another kind of evil which we must fear most, and that is the indifference of good men.

Heh! So you're a Trigun fan, eh? Well, I understand. :-]

Incidentally, I could've sworn there were websites on the net that were selling "conversion kits" to dress up actual revolvers (i.e. S&W .500 Mags and the like) as the gun from the show? I'll do some checking and see what I can find.

If you're looking for a quick and relatively cheap fix, though, you might want to give this link a look see. Good stuff here.

Now I get it! I had just found the pic and thought it was cool. Not an anime fan but they have some really cool designs of handguns. I like these

A Mateba in wood, very cool! Never had a chance to fire the real thing, either, bummer.

I like the 'under barrel'.........it would seem to shoot from the bottom of the cylinder......

It also has an ambi break-open on it!

I bet that would go right through a metal detector. Ban needed?

I was wondering about it firing from the bottom cylinder... is there a change in lock time with that design? Not that I can really see how the hammer / firing pin work...

There's at least one actual firearm with that design (firing from the bottom cylinder rather than the top) the Mateba Autorevolver.

While it's a real gun, it also has a bit of anime history to it. Togusa uses one in Ghost in the Shell.
