Smith & Wesson 325PD

Nice Purchase...
I really like that gun...I have looked at both the 325 and the 625...
I am interested in a revolver in .45ACP, and like the looks of both...
They're not cheap!

Very nice. I like those.
May have to add one to my inventory.
Please post pics in your carry rig when you get it. I would be interested to see how well it conceals.

No Rocky i think the pistol is little big for pocket Carry..
Big E i'll probley just use my other N frame holster for my 625 for now..

Heat shield over forcing cone?
I noticed on the photos of the revolver that there is a small piece of steel metal attached to the topstrap of the frame just over the forcing cone of the barrel. I wonder if this serves to protect the scandium/aluminum frame of the gun from the hot gas that blows out from the barrel/cylinder gap when the gun is fired?

Bud,
I have one just like yours. It's an easy carry. It shot POA for me with 230gr ammo.
I carry it in a CABO holster and it is very comfortable.

yep thats it i mentioned it bove its the insert they use to prevent flame cutting my 357PD has the same think
