    Smith & Wesson 325PD

Just picked one up today they are now no longer made in the 2.5" Barrel only the 4"

My Local Pusher Called me couple weeks ago asking if i wanted one they were being cleared out by a distributer he deals with so i said sure

Took and traded the kimber in for it

Here are the pics as you can see it uses moon clips

Here is a closer pic of the Hi Viz Sight and the metal insert they use to prevent Flame Cutting of the top strap

And the Hi Vis in a low light environment

At 21OZ empty it would be pretty decent for carry i think i will start using it to take dog out at night vs the 44Mag

    Nice Purchase...

I really like that gun...I have looked at both the 325 and the 625...
I am interested in a revolver in .45ACP, and like the looks of both...

    They're not cheap!

    Very nice. I like those.

May have to add one to my inventory.

Please post pics in your carry rig when you get it. I would be interested to see how well it conceals.

Looks good Bud. Pocket carry gonna work with that high front sight?

    Heat shield over forcing cone?

I noticed on the photos of the revolver that there is a small piece of steel metal attached to the topstrap of the frame just over the forcing cone of the barrel. I wonder if this serves to protect the scandium/aluminum frame of the gun from the hot gas that blows out from the barrel/cylinder gap when the gun is fired?

    Bud,
I have one just like yours. It's an easy carry. It shot POA for me with 230gr ammo.
I carry it in a CABO holster and it is very comfortable.
    Enjoy,
    Dave
