    I bought a gun

You may have seen my thread on the Springfeild GI i found for 350.00. Well I missed out on it. But I was looking around and found a gun on my budget. ( which isn't much) I fell in love
Taurus PT945, Bluing is very good, very clean. Barrel looks very good, no pitting, no marks. Has
    1) Ported barrel
    2) ambidextrous safety
    3) feed ramp is pollished
    4) 3 mags, and a lockable box
    5) SA/DA
    6) 3 dot combat sights
    6) Taurus secutity sytem (who cares) All in all very good shape.I love the way it feels. Gonna pick it up in a week or two. Sorry for the long post. I'm very excited. 300.00$

I don't know much about the Taurus PT945, what caliber is it? I know Taurus makes good revolvers, and I heard a few good things about their autoloaders. Well congrats on the purchase, and let us know how it shoots.

Nevermind, I just looked it up on gunbroker. You can't go wrong with a good .45 ACP handgun. The only .45 I have right now is a Springfield 1911A1 Mil-Spec.

When I get it I'll post pics. I really like this handgun, Great feel. The worst thing I can find about it, is it's hard to find a holster. I may have to save up and have one made.

I'm not really familiar with that model but the .45 ACP is as good as it gets for self defense. It's also quite versatile. My brother-in-law as taken several deer and an auodad ram with his 1911 .45 ACP. All were good hits and took 'em down.

    Congrats!
Ive read mixed reviews about this firearm.
Once you get it, buy like 300-400 rounds of ammo and really put it through its paces with that ammo.
Let us know what you think.
