Great looking weapon Argus. Have you picked a holster out for your weapon yet?

Thanks, No I'm still looking around. There's not a lot of holsters to fit this gun. I'd like a IWB. The ported barrel really helps with re-engaging the target. I like the wieght and balance.

I carry OWB and like a slide holster. Try checking out Don Humes stuff. For mass produce, its not bad. Not like haveing a cutom ( which I do not own ) but it will do.

Yeah they have a jit type slide, and an OWB. I have a Hume IWB for my Sigma, which works for both. Pete had the Hume OWB for sale. But I spent my allowance. Some IWB I've found are, Galco,Comp Tac, Blade Tech, and others.

Nice pistol! I hear Taurus's quality control has greatly improved, maybe I'll give one of their semi-autos a try one day.

I only had three boxes of .45 to shoot. It was a mixed bag of Ball, jhp and wadcutters. No problems. I had some Wolf I shot up to see how they would feed. Worked well, but made cleaning fun. I ran the serial number through Taurus. Manufacture date was 2003

congratulations!
Welcome to the Bull Family, Argus!!!
I love everything I've got that bears the Taurus logo. My new(ish) 1911 is probably my favorite gun (next to my daily carry Sig).

Nice looking gun... Who did the porting on it? Factory or custom?

I have the PT 145 and most ,but not all, leather holsers for the Glock 26 will fit nice. I have one from Donner gun Leather and works great. Also have the Jit Slide.

I'm really leaning toward the Comp Tac. That will be awhile though.
