I have read a few articles about these and I must say I am intrigued. I carry a G23 and I love it. I have done some minor modifications to it myself, such as filing down the trigger guard right where it meets the grip. It just rubbed my middle finger pretty badly as it was originally and taking some of the polymer off there changed the whole feel of the grip. It made it much better.
One thing I have always had a problem with is the grip angle. I have gotten used to it and I shoot very well with my Glock but the angle is just not a natural pointer for me. I love the 1911 grip angle and the CCF frames feature a 1911 grip angle. Also, the rails are much longer and more robust.
I am seriously considering buying a CCF frame for the G23 when they come out with one. They are currently making frames for the full size Glocks right now.
Just wondering what anyone else's opinion of these frames might be. I know what some of you might be thinking, if you are to go to that much trouble, why not just buy a gun that fits your hand better? Well, I can answer that question, it wouldn't be a Glock then. I am a fan of the Glock. I just do not care for the grip angle. I just wish Glock would pull their collective heads out of where ever they have them stuck and make an OEM frame with a different grip angle. It wouldn't be too hard for them at all IMO.
