Nothing could be further from the truth. I used to work at Sikorsky Aircraft. They have HUNDREDS (maybe thousands) of engineers as do other aerospace companies... Sikorsky was/is heavily recruiting and giving nice bonuses to engineers. Too bad it's a crappy place to work, however...

Go to Grad School!!! The advanced degree (Masters and higher) you get will get you lot more job oppty's and $$$ in the future: or if you can a position w/ a company that will pay for you to get a Masters part time while in their employ (think Motorola) thats even better. All the Best!!

so i talked to a guy who is real buddy buddy with SA. He says that it must have just been a stupid new HR person who just didnt didnt see the words 'engineer' on her ppl to employ list.
Also. looks like my undergraduate research this year may be the effects of ___ on bullet deformation / surface features.
