Bud hit it on the head. Wilson or Chip's.

I only shoot CMC's (Chip McCormick) Shooting Star magazines and have had no issues with them at all.

    Post Wilson

I go manufacturer direct whenever possible. I don't own a Taurus yet, but I do use Wilson Combat magazines and am considering a Wilson firearm.

They sell right on the website.

Wilson 47Ds work great in my PT1911. But the stock mags have worked just as good so far and I have 4 of them. I use Wilson's exclusively in my carry piece.

I'm a big fan of Tripp Cobra mags for 8 round mags.

Longer tube body, which allows for a longer stronger spring. I used to be a big Wilson fan, but had a couple springs that weakened after keeping them loaded.

I've got 8 of Tripps for my 5" Baer and have put over 16K though them without a hitch. I also bought 5 Officer length for my Stinger.
