    TV show Las Vegas

Did a search didn't find any thing so here it goes.

Was watching Las Vagas the other night and Tom Selleck is now on the show. The best part was at one point in the show they showed him carrying a very nice 1911 on his hip. If that wasn't enough later in the show they took a great shot at that fat pig Rosie..Just wondering if any one else caught this?

Yeah. The shot at Rosie wasn't over the top either.

Didn't see it but Tom has always seemed an OK sensible guy with our gun rights. One of our friends.

I'll bet part of Quiggly was the real Selleck

I was commenting both scenes with the wife just yesterday. We thought that all of the regulars showing surprise on their faces because he was packing was a bit hypocritical in the part of the writers, specially since there seemed to be a shootout every other episode before Tom Selleck arrived.
Is it me or the show felt a tad better with Selleck in it? You gotta love his low-key approache to solve problems IE: the blackjack player.
You have to make the shot when fire is smoking, people are screaming, dogs are barking, kids are crying and sirens are coming.

I'm with you on him improving the show.

I enjoyed the new episode, and am very glad for Tom Selleck's addition. I liked the heck out of James Caan's character, and it takes a very strong character to replace him.

I noticed the shot at Rosie, and thought it was effective, but tasteful. Tom's 1911 was a nice touch, too. I felt the characters' reaction was more just about sizing up the new owner, rather than a hypocritical stance on weapons.

I noticed, in fact I went back (god bless TIVO) and took a better look. Looked like Stag Grips. I told the wife, "I'll bet that makes the Board in the next couple of days."

Basically the woman who runs the spa was telling Tom he had rough hands. I don't remember exactly what was said but basically Rosie was a mess. It was done very smart. Not over the top but very low keyed. I liked the show with James Caan on it but I loved it with Tom. What a great job he did.
