Here's an oddity that's a new one on me. It's a Colt Lawman Mark III with a 2 inch barrel that uses disposable plastic cylinders loaded with rubber bulleted ammo. It was supposedly developed for the Federal Air Marshals in the 1970s.
I'm not sure if I believe this or not, but given the Government's track record for wacky ideas (the Vietnam era tunnel rat S&W Model 29 comes to mind), it could be real. The U.S. Customs Sky Marshals that I knew in the 70s all carried issued S&W M60s.
When you’re wounded and left on Afghanistan’s plains,
And the women come out to cut up what remains,
Just roll to your rifle and blow out your brains,
And go to your God like a soldier.
I've never heard of that before either. I don't know where you could check it.
I wouldn't put it past the goverment either.
A real man loves his wife, and places his family as the most important thing in life. Nothing has brought me more peace and content in life than simply being a good husband and father.
