Usually once a week on primary carry guns, nothing too detailed, but a good wipe down and light oiling.

    Always after shooting.

As for the rest, (not in regular use) I usually do a full break down and clean every 6 months.

After I shoot, for sure. And if they've sat for a while, I'll usually do a break-down and light re-oil before a range session.

Is this hard to understand? Then why does it get unintelligible to some people when 5 little words are changed?

I will generally try to clean my guns after shooting, but often my wife has other plans for my time...Never let them get to dirty though.

I clean my firearms after I shoot them, Swiftyjuan dosen't, that's why he gave them to me to clean for him. Since being here in the Philippines I would hate to see what they look like now, I suppose that's why his main ccw is a Glock. He He...

The order of cleaning: My weapon(s), my gear, myself. Always.
A man fires a rifle for many years, and he goes to war. And afterward he turns the rifle in at the armory, and he believes he's finished with the rifle. But no matter what else he might do with his hands - love a woman, build a house, change his son's diaper - his hands remember the rifle.

I chose clean regularly ownly because I do clean all my firearms semi-annually, however, I also clean after every firing.

If the weapon is used, it gets cleaned, immediately!
