Has Anyone Seen This Target? I Can't Find It...

    Hello,

A while back someone on a gunboard directed me to a target.

This target consisted of a grid with a bullseye in the middle. The bullseye was half red and half black if I remember correctly.

I cannot find the link in my bookmarks, and must have not bookmarked it though I thought I did.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks!

    Josh <><

I'm not sure exactly what you're talking about but they have lots of different targets that make aiming with open sights easier over at www.beartoothbullets.com

    Alco Target Company

I buy a lot of targets from the website of Alco Target Company and they have one model with an orange bullseye on a one inch grid pattern. It is similar to what you describe:

    Josh,

I don't know if it is the same target, but this websight has one similar to what your talking about, it is called grid target with sight alingment aid, along with lots of others. They are free to download and you just print when you want them.

Thank you, gents. With my penchant for shooting playing cards, I've not downloaded a target in years. Good resources here!

Ok, couldn't find it so I made one similar to it. I do not like Photoshop for this type of work. Autocad would have been much better. Regardless, I think it turned out OK.

The small pic is what it looks like; the link takes you to the fullsize target for printing.

This target is supposed to really draw your eyes towards the aiming point and assist in groups.

    Enjoy!

    Question

"This target is supposed to really draw your eyes towards the aiming point and assist in groups."

Just curious as to where you got that information from.

That's just me saying that. This is not the target I was looking for; it's similar to how I remember it but this one's 100% mine.

I designed the middle so it's a bit of an optical illusion. If you stare at it for a few seconds the middle looks a bit 3D, at least it does for me.

Honestly, I'd like some feedback. It's been raining all day and we had a tornado come through so I was unable to go out and test it.

Making targets used to be something I enjoyed and if others find them useful, so much the better.

    Thanks,

    Josh <><
