I scored a Springfield Champion last weekend at the gunshow in Albany Ga. The champ doesn't have night sights and I want them. How hard of a job is this and what will I need to get other than the sights to do the job? The champ has a parkerized finish and basic sights right now. Should I just take it to a smith or try it myself? Recommendations on sights are welcome also.
