Glockers/Sigma owners... help please
So i have had my Sigma 9v (an older glock clone) for so time now, and I am taking out to the range tomorrow with Dad. I field stripped it and and lubbed it up and cleanend it out as the manual says, however when putting back in the recoil spring/guiderod assymbly i am confused as to where the guide rod sits on the barrel lug. Does it go up as far as possible, or in the little cut out section? Thanks! The manual says the machine section ( i assume the cut out section) but the guide rod is not straight like this and the slide doesn't easily slip back on.

On my glock there is a little concave cut out that the guide rod fits into.

It needs to sit parallel with the barrel, so you need to push it into that second spot. I know you probably have no idea what im talking about, i just re read this and i don't have a clue either.

If you have the manual, look at pg 23 figure 21a.

No, i think i understand. i wish i had a functioning digital camera, or new how to post pics from my cell phone (i don't even know how to get those online...) The manual was online, i don't acutally have one (but at the price i paid for the gun... didn't expect to get one.)
