I'm looking to get a new .45 and have narrowed it down to the following three choices: Sig P220, S&W M&P , or a Glock 21SF. I already carry a Sig P226 on duty and many off-duty holsters for it so that gives the P220 an advantage there. However I can obtain the M&P for $500 NIB same for the 21SF. I'd like to get all three but I don't think the significant other would find that amusing. Just curious what everyone's thoughts on a new .45 would be....
I've got the 21 and I've got the 220.
The 220 feels much better to me.
Plus...its got more "cool" factor than the Glock.:image035:
IMO, the 220 is the better gun.
I'd go for the 220.

Another vote for P220. As far as price, check the Sigarms website, I believe they have LEO pricing available if you can order on department letter head or something like that.
This hide-bound Colt 1911 shooter likes the P220 way best of all of the "new crop" semi-auto pistols out there. Haven't bought one mind you, but it would be one that is not beyond the realm of possibilities.
Hmmm pretty unanonymous here, everyone prefers the 220, that is definately a point to consider...

I would go for the Glock 21sf, I love mine and is the most accurate semi outo hand gun I have ever fired, the recoil is minimal for a 45 and it goes bang every time I pull the trigger no matter what I feed it, I have been shooting it for about a year now, probably around 2K rounds through it and have not had one FTF or FTE. I can't say enough about it, it has been the perfect 45.
