He has said before that he would sign such a bill.

done, and if not already done I reccommend a MOD makes this a sticky. It takes less than 2 minutes to sign this petition and EVERYBODY here needs to take care of this.

I don't know about that site. I did sign the petition, but after clicking "add my signature" I was taken to a page asking for a donation for American Humane to help pets and children. I don't think any legitimate petition for 2nd Amendment rights would take you to a page like that. I poked around a little and I wish I had NOT signed that petition. The second site looks a little nefarious to me.

I will look into the site and see if I can get to the bottom of it, but that may be something to consider on this and all other sites visited on the Internet. Some of them are just harvesters that are after email addresses, and other personal information, that is then sold to other companies. I did receive several emails from them soliciting me to sign other petitions that they have. I didn't get redirected to another page, but I have a blocker installed.....

    OK I signed.
    Yes Bumper look into it.

Here was the comment that I posted.

It didn't work before and it won't work now. Us folks who go through legal channels to our buy firearms ARE NOT the problem. We do not commit the gun crimes. We are great law abiding American citizens who respect and obey the law. Lock the repeat violent criminals up and keep them in prison and your gun and crime problem will be solved. But, of course you won't DO that because "The Revolving Door Of Justice" is too much of a big money industry for the lawyers.
