I hate driving through Oregon for the same reason. Plus the attendants are always jerks to people with out of state plates.
I can't imagine living someplace where people are prevented from defending themselves by their own government. At least Oregon still lets people CC.

The law defines a firearm as a handgun and also says any weapon with a barrel length under 16" you need a permit.
I am not a lawyer or a judge but this is from my knowledge if I am wrong please tell me.
