    No surprise there.
Training means learning the rules. Experience means learning the exceptions.

8 1. a. As used in this section:
9 “Prohibited firearm” means any handgun, sawed-off shotgun,
10 assault firearm or machine gun.
Is it just me, or does it say any handgun?

    matiki,

That's the way I read it...

Of course, I may or may not be deemed a "reasonable person" by my peers, and I dang sure ain't no barrister.

I have said many times before...the people of NJ deserve everything that they have voted for!

My job has sent me to both places, and my ancestors left Deutschland in the 1800s. Having said that, please don't insult Germany like that...

    .
"Regulating" ammo is the easiest way for the liberal politicians to get their ban on guns.

What do you expect from a state that doesn't even trust its citizens to pump their own gas.

I hate driving through Oregon for the same reason. Plus the attendants are always jerks to people with out of state plates.

I can't imagine living someplace where people are prevented from defending themselves by their own government. At least Oregon still lets people CC.

The law defines a firearm as a handgun and also says any weapon with a barrel length under 16" you need a permit.

I am not a lawyer or a judge but this is from my knowledge if I am wrong please tell me.
