Never seen any .410 signal flares but I have seen quite a few 12 gague ones over the years. Now could you be thinking of tracer rounds?

Nah. They did make them, waaay back when for sure. There was a short while that the springfield survival rifle that I have was issued with them. (.410/.22 over/under)
Edit to add:
Now that you mention it, perhaps tracers (of any caliber) might be an OK signal flare in a pinch. Might need a few due to lack of flight time (relatively). You might be a genius.

No .410 flares that I've seen for many a year now. 12 gauge is the most common followed by 25 mm and up. There are some very small marine rated personal flare launchers but after seeing them in action I prefer 25 mm at least!
