Sort of a related thread. Break it down by type: shotgun, rifle & handgun.

Shotguns: NONE (I'm happy with what I've got)

    Handguns:
    1. ParaOrdnance TAC-4 w/SpecOps finish
    2. Ruger 454 Alaskan
    3. Sig Sauer P220 w/ light rail and SureFire X200 gunlight & CT Laser Grips
    4. Ruger Vacquero in 45LC and "Birdshead Grips"

If money becomes abundant, I will buy whatever peaks my fancy, whenever. Having a C&R FFL, a lot of "old iron" is attractive to me for historical reasons.

    Rifles

I change my mind every day, but I do seriously want lever action carbines in .44 and .357 Magnum. Exact platforms and configurations are nebulous. Although I am fascinated by EBRs I don't know if I'll ever seriously invest in any.

Handguns... I can think of a lot that I want and may get some day but I've actually got sufficient supply of handguns. I've gotten to the point where I look at stuff and say "I'll get me one of them some time..." or "That's nice but I like what I already have."

Shotguns... Have a Mossberg, would like to add a Winchester 1300 or Remington 870 to it but not a large priority.

I can actually say that (in theory) I am about satiated. That is the fiscal answer!!

Now for the answer based on sudden aquisition of copious funds -

    Smith 460.
    Ruger Alaskan
    M1
    LOTS more early Smith revo's.
    Broom Handle
    Nice condition Luger
375H&H rifle - any good make - actual Holland would be fine!!
    Something in 600 Nitro Express!

All the Class3's I can find and the ammo they need. (Including GE minigun!)

The list does not in truth have and end

Truthfully I'm interested in anything I can get my hands on (with the exception of Hi-point and other junk).

My actual "to obtain" list is something like this (some are more of a priority than others):

-a good quality AK or maybe a Cetme or Fal
    -more 1911's
    -Browning Hi-power
    -Smith J-frame or Ruger SP-101
    -more Glocks, probably a 21 and a 26
    -some of the early S&W's (models 27, 28, 29)
    -Ruger Super Blackhawk...just because
    -a good .308 or .30-06 for long-range

Shotguns? I'm good with what I've got...maybe an 870 Wingmaster just 'cause they're pretty.

Well, I don't say any more. I can't say no to another FAL, no matter how many I have, ditto my Sig 226s.

I bought a $300 FAL (deal of the year), USP full-size in .45, and a Walther P1/P38 all in the last week. ;)

Robert - this must perforce present you with a strorage space problem.!! See - my altruistic self is now showing and because of that - I will by shere good nature, offer to help out with storage space (I won't admit I am already out of my own!) - and so will happily ''house'' your surplus equipment for as long as you want!

Three in a week? Heck - oh well - I did that once (at least!).

Why 3" SP Lee?? Not for carry? Or some other factor?

I find the 2 1/4" a good compromize but then it was for carry.
