Good decision Sam - I guess I was wondering whether this would come first or the SP - or 220!!
Excellent plinker and I reckon next time we do a range trip together there'll have to be some competitive element yeah!
Recent promotion eh?!!

I've got one in stainless. For plinking and pure fun they are hard to beat. Accurate too. Excellent squirrel killing machines.

I should mention I already began tinkering with it. I removed the mag safety with the installation of a MkII hammer bushing because the safety prevented the magazines from dropping freely. There was a little bit of a hang up, now there is none. I removed the detent ball and spring from the bolt stop lever to allow for sling shotting. I also installed a VQ target sear to smooth out the trigger feel.

Sweet!
thanks to WallyWorld and Federal value packs
I've been buying 45acp and 9mm from WallyWorld lately. Winchester 100 packs on the plinking ammo, and 50 round packs of Winchester's PD ammo. They are the cheapest I can find right now, and the PD ammo works very nicely in my P220. Since we are on the subject of P220---what model are you looking for? I have the P220R-45-TSS-SAO and love it. If you were thinking about one of these babies---my indoor range guy has one for sale--it's the First Production Run and has it stamped on the slide. I bought mine three weeks earlier before I saw this. He's wanting $680 for it. If you're interested, PM me and I can give your the phone and address. He's FFL of course and got it as a dealer promo. Most are going for $825+ around here.

Don't forget Sam too - could be a VQ extractor might be good - tho MKIII models may have improved the claw ''sharpness'' perhaps.

Chris, I've really had no problems with extraction, yet. I will wait until the round count is higher before looking into VQ's extractor.
