    Name These Weapons!

These are some weapons we captured on a raid one time...I never got to really examine them, and the pic doesn't show all of them, but I'm curious as to what you think they might be... Any guesses?

A man fires a rifle for many years, and he goes to war. And afterward he turns the rifle in at the armory, and he believes he's finished with the rifle. But no matter what else he might do with his hands - love a woman, build a house, change his son's diaper - his hands remember the rifle.

Well I see at least some RPG warheads and AK type guns...I'm not all up on the 47 vs. 74 vs. RPK features though. The ones in the middle...weird. Doesn't look familiar.

Well, yes, of course they're AK and RPG variants...
I had hoped that one of the gurus could cipher some more details from the less than optimal pic.

The one to the left of the green stock looks strange but I can't but my finger on why. Almost like it is a Sagia rifle or something.

They just look like standard AKs to me, one had the stock cut off, the other stock is decorated with something.

To tell anymore from that pic....well I don't think it's possible without actually seeing some markings.

The only thing I can say for sure is that the RPG launcher is a really old one as it predates the RPG-7.

RPG-2, or B40, IIRC. I know, it's hard to tell much from the pic... Ah, well.

But what are those two with the sticks in them? They look like maybe RPG launchers. And why the sticks?

The sticks, as I understand it, are "placeholders" for the propellant charges that are inserted into the rockets (that's what those are, not launchers).

    OK, how about this one?

All of the RPG rounds look like a variant of the PG-7 round (for the RPG-7 series) and not RPG-2/B40 rounds.

I think that's either a mine or a roach motel, but I'm not sure.
