    The stars must be aligned.....

I don't know what to make of it. Colt is actually showing signs of listening to customers and bringing back some oldies but goodies that people want. Maybe they are watching Smith & Wesson, who are doing the same thing to some extent.

About the same here, I am not overly enthused with anything out of Shot Show. Still holding out hope that I haven't heard everything yet.

Both the colt new agent and the new sig 239 look sweet.
I wonder if colt can get their double action as smooth and light as Para's LDA ?

I'm excited for Colt. Glad to see some activity. Hoping for even more. Perhaps even the Detective Special revolver? Maybe? Hopefully?

Glad to take a look at all the goodies that OD is posting this morning. Those Storkeeper/Sheriff's models of the SAA look good enough to tote for concealed carry. That's the best photo I've yet seen of the New Agent. Gives me bad "Forum Envy".

I really like my Delta Elite.

But, I'd like something smaller and lighter for carrying.

I think what I want is a Colt Defender in 10mm

I have a Defender in .45 ACP (at Colt now in for repairs) and most folk consider it's recoil to be punishing. I picked it up from the original owner on discount as his own wrists being twice my own age could not take the recoil as he reported. Myself I've had no problem with it and use it at times to shoot IDPA with as well. But when I loan it to others they are always like whoa...especially in side to side comparison to a full size all steel 1911 in .45.

A 10MM Defender I can't imagine how unpleasant that would be to train with toward proficiency.
I like this Dela Elite but ammo is going to be expensive and recoil will still be hard felt in hand. IMHO a more sensible and practical as well as forward thinking OEM release would have been one factory chambered in 9x23MM. Light recoil with ballistics akin to a 357 magnum and can support an extra round in hand as well.
I'm speaking specifically to street and combat application toward 2 legged animals and not pistol platform hunters to which 10MM makes more sense albeit less so much in a 1911 GI sizing or less form factor.

A 10mm Defender would be similar to a G29, with the Colt being about 2oz lighter.

I've never shot a G29 but would be interested in hearing about recoil from those who have.

Too good to be true until I see it. Hopefully no changes from the original.
