Because it looks cool and you can carry it under your knee length black coat.

Yeah - short, stubby - I guess some ''kool'' - but for 9mm I'll stick with my CX4. Haven't checked but expect a hefty price tag too.

I wouldn't mind having a full length 9mm upper for my AR so I could shoot at the pistol range.
That ugly thing is for people who want the closest thing to the full-auto 9mm carbine and can't purchase deadly class 3 firearms...
Other than some idiotic Hollywood producer thinking it will look cool in a movie, it is one of the dumbest gun ideas I have seen in quite sometime

I think its pretty dumb... but it would be way cool to have a 6 position stock on it.

I wonder how anyone can hit much wiith that type of pistol. I have tried shooting my AR rifle with the stock collapsed , (pistol style) and can't seem to hit much. A six position stock would be better.

Yea, I agree I think it is pointless. A six position stock and a forward grip, then we have something to talk about. Also, a heavier caliber like in .45 or 10mm.
I will support gun control when you can guarantee all guns are removed from this planet. That includes military and law enforcement. When you can accomplish that, then I will be the last person to lay down my gun. Then I will carry the weapon that replaces the gun.

I was wondering if you could do that .. would it still be a pistol or would it now be a NFA short Barreled Rifle?
To buy it here we would have to buy it and register it as a pistol ..

Agreed---"pointless", and goofy looking at that. Might be available only in California. That way when the allowed five rounds are gone, one could turn it around and use it as a 'politically correct' club to conquer a BG. The nerf pad should get you out of a lawsuit as a padded club wouldn't be 'excessive' force.
